Spreading Seeds

Sharing God's word is like blowing on a dandelion and watching the delicate seeds being carried on the wind, only to fall to the ground and plant themselves in the soil. They multiply themselves many times over. I like to share scripture verses through images and post them online. I pray before posting and ask God to carry these "seeds" to whomever he wants to see them, so that he might speak to their hearts. When we stop and take time to remember what God has done for us-not just for us personally, but for all of mankind-we cannot help but rejoice in his extravagant kindness.

Take time today. Be alert to what God is doing for you today and remember what he has done for you in the past. I bet you'll find yourself rejoicing with a heart overflowing with gratitude.

The Right Response

Wouldn't it be great if everyone responded to the Lord this way?

Be Patient - He's Coming

Be patient until the Lord's coming. I looked up the word patient; able to accept or tolerate delays, problems or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.

Wow-that's a tall order! Until we read the very next verse that says, "Be patient, because the Lord's coming is near." Praise God!

Let God Straighten Them Out

Kindness goes a long way in building relationships. We don't have to correct others or get mad when they don't agree with us. Just love them and let God straighten them out.

Build Yourself Up

What are you doing to build yourself up in your faith today?

Don't forget to give thanks for all God has done for you.

How bad do you want it?

I’m talking about an intimate relationship With God. We all want to experience his presence, but are we willing to put in the time it takes to develop that relationship? Are we willing to alter our habits so that our behavior is in line with His word?

We are all just as close to God as we truly want to be, so if you are not satisfied with your relationship with Him, you know what to do.

How to Overcome

How do we triumph over the enemy? By the blood of the Lamb (accepting the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for our forgiveness and inviting Him to be Lord over our lives). And by the word of our testimony. (Telling all who will listen what Jesus has done for us). Let's not love our lives so much that we shrink from our calling and our purpose - to point others to the saving power of Jesus Christ!
